What will lack of sleep do to myself (health/fitness…?
I haven’t been getting much sleep in lately, maybe 4 hours or so. What will that do to my health? Well Yesterday, I didn’t go to sleep until 2 PM and i woke up at 6 PM. It is now 3:50 AM, and I plan on doing cardio at 5 AM. What would be the result of all this?

(What I’m trying to ask is how will my cardio go? And my strength training will begin at 9 AM.. how will that go?

    Can cause sickeness make you less aware mentally

    Your body will shut down. You can get sick, or simply pass out. Your body demands rest. That’s when it repairs itself. If you don’t voluntairly give it rest, it will “make” you.

    Sleep is when your body heals itself and regroups. You are likely to weaken your immune system and suffer mental health issues.

    think of your body like a battery. If you charge it (sleep) all the way through, it will work fine but if you dont it will go out at any given moment. If it doesnt go out, it will feel like it.

    It all depends on how do you feel, ideally you should get seven hours of sleep every night and at the same seven hours for peak physical and mental performance (this is based on a study the US military did in order to get the most out of our soldiers). But every one goes through their different phases, however lack of sleep really wears down your body and prevents you from being your best and eventually can make you sick.

    You’ll probably be exhausted and have reduced energy. Although, the physical exertion may be what you need to get better sleep at night. Sleep deprivation is curse that ravages your health, perfomance and sanity – you need to do something about it. Luckily there’s a wealth of information and remedies out there – the trick is to try each for at least a month or so. Each time you try a remedy, document its effectiveness and at the end of the trial period, evaluate and maintain, or evaluate and diversify.

    your body needs 8 hours of sleep a night. Not only will you be more energized but your body will be more efficient with the calories you are taking in. Lack of sleep is often a cause of weight gain.

    Lack of sleep can cause all kind of health problems. As far as your exercise program, you will get less out of it if you don’t have proper sleep, and probably not be able to do as much. You really need to focus on why you aren’t getting enough sleep. Talk with a doctor and make the necessary changes in your diet and daily routine to help you get a good night’s sleep!

    Lack and Sleep and Cardio don’t go together. You are putting a major strain on your body and mental health.
    You going to end up injured, tearing of the muscles.
    Not to mention your mental health.
    You going to get angered very easily, would not be able to deal with usual stress.
    Put it like this, you won’t be fun to be around anyone nor yourself.
